People come for the beautiful parks and stay for the relaxed coastal community. Los Osos is an unincorporated town in San Luis Obispo County. It is the entrance to the breathtaking Montana De Oro National Park. The main road reaches the coast at the south end of Estero Bay and continues south into the state park. Morro Bay State Park borders northeast of the town and the Elfin Forest sits on the southeast side of the estuary, which is between Los Osos and Morro Bay State Park.
